Internship for ITV's Tonight Show at MultiStory Media

I've just finished a two week internship for ITV's Tonight Show at MultiStory Media. I've gained invaluable advice and skills from the UK's most-watched current affairs show. 

In my Researcher role, I sourced content and contributors for future programmes. I was told to find a slight North West focus with potential contributors, which made sense with the office being in MediaCityUK. 

The highlight was researching and making contact with former friends/colleagues of the party leaders ahead of the December general election. 

I proudly used outside-of-the-box thinking finding a case study on Reddit for an episode to be broadcast this Christmas. 

Being a journalism researcher at ITV tested my telephone manner, office running, and collaborative production skills. 

I am humbled to have played a part for such a huge name, which is right on my doorstep as well.
