Marketing Efforts Lead to Another Award Recognition
For the second year in a row, my university TV station Trent TV have been commended for their marketing department.
I proud to be elected Trent TV's Head of Marketing for the 2017/18 Academic Year, my duties included:
Client Liaison
Securing two station sponsors with Sobar and The Orange Tree Gastropub, and producing content in return for them.
Social Media
Published platform-specific content promotion. Also encouraged to increase drive traffic to these pages through print and digital marketing skills.
A highlight included increasing our likes by 10% in one week through a Freshers Week competition.

And I'm pleased to say they've done it again in 2019!
I have remained in the marketing team for the 2018/19 Academic Year. I am advising while also creating my own content. I have used my video scripting and copywriting skills from my broadcast journalism course to produce a series of viral videos for competitions.Have you heard about @Cornerhousetv's student event?

Pop over to spin the wheel and win prizes! From Love Island style water bottles, to clothes hangers and cinema tickets. You gotta be in it, to win it 🏆 pic.twitter.com/3vDB0aTLa9
This of course was only a fraction of the hard work that led to another successful year of content strategy. Although I won't be there, let's hope we can go one step further and win the Best Marketing NASTA next year. I hope I can continue to apply both my journalist and marketing skills when in the industry.INSTAGRAM COMPETITION: Free pudding/cake at The Pudding Pantry! https://t.co/TFvDCcmylv
